Now they have made public the official pictures of this mobile phone that has an average size between the X10 and X10 mini. No further information on specifications and features in this device.Shakira, TeaCake and Hong could be announced soon. A member of forum esato and se-nse released these images and therefore we have no confirmation whether it is true images.
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 family has set its vision on the bull market, the Mini-X10 is definitely the phone for teens and those looking to jump to the Android platform at a price much cheaper. Fortunately for Sony Ericsson, the two Phones Leave a huge gap right in the middle to them to launch a mid-range device. Rumors Sony Ericsson “Shakira” has been named as the XPERIA X8 and should be to offer a decent Android phone in programming Sony Ericsson.
Sony Ericsson has not released any information on the features of the XPERIA X8 or specifications, but seems to be a slightly larger screen than display X10 Mini is 2.5 inches. Like the other three Xperia phones, the X8 is likely to be executed Android 1.6 release in the same UI. We don´t have no concrete information on the inside of Sony Ericsson and no reliable source confirmed to us that lançamento. As prototype or future images are illustrative and don´t expect much before guys confirmation because the images can be phone concept that some designed by a designer.

First of all guys do not take very seriously the rumours so even are called rumours. We have no confirmation about this rumor that walks by blogging expert in SE but what seems maybe a new phone model Sony Ericsson’s family Walkman. We don´t know if there is any OS from behind or simply be the continuation of the X10-branded mini Walkman. No dare say anything but sources are saying that perhaps a mini X10 followed a Walkman music in this case with an Android OS or Java platform.
Ilustrative image supposed mini X10 or Walkman w150i
As its name suggests Sony Ericsson W150i is an entry level model touch, which is the first for Sony Ericsson. It has no 3G connectivity or Wi-Fi and it only has dual-band GSM / EDGE. There is a 2-megapixel camera on the back. Our source goes further by saying that Android is not we’re seeing here, but some other type of touch UI. We find it hard to believe, but who knows.
Sony Ericsson might just surprise us this time. Even looking at these images of low quality and do not have absolute certainty that the images were edited or not, it’s easy to see how similar are the rumors W150i and Sony Ericsson now available mini X10, which we reviewed last week. Word on the street is that both devices will not only look the same, but that they will share almost the same characteristics. Thus, the W150i runs Android v1.5 for now with customizations they have mini X10. The retail version could probably have a newer operating system.
As the mini X10, the W150i also sports a touch screen 2.6 “QVGA. Ok ok so everything was predictable and most phones now come with these features of the prototype device basic. The new Walkman phone is said to be announced sometime this month. The only thing to do is wait for more news guys sorry
All this is leak and we have no confirmation about these true facts same because no representative or employed of marketing for Sony Ericsson expressed or came into contact.
You know who knows everything? Sony prepping new line of handhelds including psp phone??? What´s going on!!! ok ok People familiar with the matter. In particular, they know everything when “the matter” happens to be Sony’s handheld strategy for 2010. According to the WSJ, the device is apparently part of a larger push by Sony to create an iTunes-like Utopian ecosystem of products this year that connect to Sony Online Service, an ecosystem that would also include a hybrid portable of some sort that “blurs distinctions among a netbook, an e-reader and a PlayStation Portable.” Details aren’t offered on this particular monster — but turning our attention back to the phone for a second, it’s claimed that Sony’s working with it in conjunction with the folks at Sony Ericsson under the direction of Kunimasa Suzuki, an exec largely responsible for the Vaio line who’s also involved with the PlayStation team. Of course, SE’s already taken some baby steps toward corporate harmony by bundling Remote Play support with the Aino, but everyone knows that PSP compatibility is the panacea; Microsoft finally buckled on the Zunephone thing with the introduction of Windows Phone 7 Series, and there’s no reason why Sony shouldn’t follow suit. read first in

“The Japanese electronics giant also is developing a portable device that shares characteristics of netbooks, electronic-book readers and handheld-game machines. The device is designed to compete against multifunction products such as Apple’s coming iPad tablet, these people said.”
“Both the new smart phone and the multifunction device are expected to work with Sony’s new online media platform, due to launch later this month in …”

According to Sony CEO Howard Stringer, speaking at MWC in Barcelona, the PlayStation Network is intended for Sony Ericsson phones, as well as other network devices from Sony. “PSN is not the secret weapon. Building on PSN are building a new network that will connect over the network allowed many products, including Sony Bravia, Vaois and Blu-ray. “To meet the demand for more open systems and expand the range of network devices connected to our network services we committed to expanding the service to mobile phones from Sony Ericsson. ”
So it seems that at least we can hope to achieve visualization notebook but what else is going to the mobile version of PSN bring? Mr Howard went on to say: “As part of these initiatives we are also exploring the user interfaces consistent across the Sony Ericsson products to ensure a seamless experience and integrated to the consumer. ”
If that means that time can become our boilers remotely with our phone and easily.
The announcement that the Windows Phone 7 Series will have integration with the Xbox Live seems to have agreed the competition. Howard Stringer, CEO of Sony Ericsson, revealed that the company plans to go out and offer similar service on their phones.
“PSN (PlayStation Network) is no secret weapon. Taking advantage of the PSN we are building a new network that will connect more products like Sony Bravia, Vaios and Blu-ray players. To meet the demand for more open systems and to increase range of devices in our network, we are committed to extending the service to mobile phones from Sony Ericsson as well.
As parts of these initiatives we are exploring new interfaces consistent across the Sony Ericsson products to ensure a seamless and integrated to the consumer. “
Putting an end to all the speculation, Sony Ericsson have confirmed that the Xperia X10 will eventually be updated to a newer version of Android after its launch.
If the Android 1.6 will be competitive and capable enough to work in perfect harmony with the X10 does not know. But we can say that Pretenti develop a Google Android OS for mobile devices thereby excluding an exclusive OS for each device. Most important is that the Hardware and Software are a perfect match for later be updated only by other versions of the Android OS, good would be the intention of Google.Sumit Malhotra on the SE Product blog has confirmed that ‘there will be a software update for the X10 that will upgrade the complete Sony Ericsson User Experience Platform based on newer version of the Android OS.’ Hence in all probability, X10 will launch with Android 1.6 which will be updated to a ‘newer Android version’ later. Sony Ericsson has however not specified which version it’ll eventually be updated to.

“Some reflections after meeting media, analyst and bloggers around the world over the last couple of months. I have been confronted with the same questions and discussions that you have been interested in from the very beginning. The underlying OS release version that we will use when launching Xperia X10 -why 1.6 and will it be competetive enough? These concerns are quite on top of mind among industry experts as well as advanced users as yourself, which I do appreciate. I will share my experience from enganging in these discussions giving it a context. It is a bit lengthy, so bare with me.”
“The OS versions are some what becoming a reference point for people I feel. Similar to processor speed in computers and megapixels in camera phones. I as consumer of course evaluate the same things, buying equipment on my own. However when you start evaluating usage, there are more factors to consider than just the specs.”
“When I do a product demo, the response about hardware is unquestionable in my view. The design, screen size, ”feel” and overall specs leaves an impression right away. “Beautiful and delight to hold in the hand”, “Sleek and outstanding” are some frequent quotes.”
“On the other hand when moving over to talk about the user interface, I have felt some skepticism in the air since people tend to have adopted quickly to Android release version as their context of competiveness. Quite often, the starting point for this part of the demonstration is a 1.6 release remark if I would generalize my interactions to date.
Interestingly enough the focus on OS version changes over course of a minute or so. Demonstrating the generic Android capabilities with our graphical enhancements is a starting point. The home screen, the immediate responsiveness of the big capacitive screen, the true multitasking that Android allows, the easy and rich access to Google services like maps and android market. All that is there and for me that is the base functionality, which I really appreciate and use on a day to day basis.”
“Then I introduce the signature applications; Sony Ericsson Timescape and Mediascape and the focus of the discussion shifts from talking about this layer on top of Android, that I refer to as the Sony Ericsson User Experience platform. I now find myself discussing the total experience rather the OS version in isolation with a great appreciation about what we are bringing to the table. Then the interest of the User Experience platform future roadmap gets to be the talking point instead. What I hope to get across to you all, is that there will be a software update for Xperia X10 that will upgrade the complete Sony Ericsson User Experience Platform based on newer version of the Android OS.”
“I have probably painted a positive picture, but I am sharing the discussions I have had and my take outs from them. I am not trying to hide from the fact that there are platform upgrades between android 1.6 and 2.1, if utilized can enhance the experience for developers and users. Having that said, I have had discussions with carriers that are very sensitive and concerned generally about taking on devices in their range that are not competetive enough. I have faced head to head comparisons between Xperia X10 and generic 2.1 Android devices (as well as other OS) and carriers have concluded that we still stand strong in comparison. This because of the layer that we ad on top of the generic OS.”
