Hi guys are you ready for XPERIA X10 Launch & Consumer Research Program Started??? So hot news about X10, well at least for the citizens of  Sweden that is, the X10 will be available throughout Europe from that date but each region will have its release date of course. Good Luck for us.
Rikard Skogberg told us that the area of marketing of SE is enabling people to make their criticisms on the X10 and how will go the functioning of the Android OS.

Peter unboxing X10

Wrote by Rikard Skogberg of http://blogs.sonyericsson.com/products

“As announced a while ago there is a consumer research program around X10 in the works. The research program is a bigger thing but we here at the blog got the opportunity to recruit some of the research candidates. Many of you applied and some of you got chosen. Now it’s live. This wednesday I got to join Sumit in one of the start up interviews and getting started moments here in Stockholm. Me and Sumit visited Peter, who also runs a blog at www.DailyAndroid.se, asked a lot of questions and finally got to the part where he was to unbox his X10 and get started with settings, services and applications. The first meeting is of course around background and the initial thoughts of getting the X10 in his hands but there will be further follow up posts over time.”

Data traffic exceed voice data in cellular phone since December 2009, the announcement was made by Hans Vestberg, CEO of Ericsson, held during CTIA Wireless 2010 convention in Las Vegas March 23 to 25.Esta is a historic turning point for phones. The networks found measures that Ericsson has made in business networks covering all regions of the world.
The study conducted by Ericsson shows how the data traffic has in general, increased 280% in a surprise on both years. Forecasts indicate that he should continue to doubling annually over the next 5 years. More than 50 networks 2G/3G mobile in the world, have been analyzed in terms of traffic this study.

Words of  Hans Vestberg say:

“These observations constitute a milestone. The 400 million mobile broadband subscriptions alone generate more data traffic than voice traffic on a total of 4.6 billion mobile subscriptions worldwide. Our vision in which the desire for connectivity anytime and anywhere would fuel the growth of mobile broadband, is well supported by measurements in the real world by Ericsson ”
Hans Vestberg, CEO of Ericsson

Hi guy what´s up. Well let’s get out of routine and practice some any sport, in this case we talk about tennis Yes Why not??? humm. Here some interviews with players from tennis where Sony Ericsson sponsors the event of the ATP Tour.Enjoy these great pictures from the Glam Set Match tennis exhibition at the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami.

By WTA and ATP

Sony Ericsson Open: Novak Djokovic Interview March 24th 2010:

Q. You were so consistent in Masters events last year. Do you approach these tournaments differently than others, or do anything differently?
NOVAK DJOKOVIC: Well, after Grand Slams, these are most important tournaments for us, so we try to prioritize them and set up our shape for these events.
I’ve played quite well last year. I lost many finals, though, and managed to win the title in Paris Bercy. So this year I feel quite good still, but didn’t play my best tennis in Indian Wells.
But, hey, you know, I lost to the champion, so it’s good. Now I have a little more time for Miami to get ready, and hopefully I can pull up some good tennis.

Q. I read your interview after Indian Wells. You hoped to do some sightseeing. Maybe Los Angeles.
NOVAK DJOKOVIC: Yes.

Q. Did that happen?
NOVAK DJOKOVIC: Yeah, it happened.

Q. What did you get to see?
NOVAK DJOKOVIC: Yeah, what the tourists usually see in LA, Universal Studios, beach, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, these kinds of things.
Just relaxing. We don’t have that much time to explore the sights of the different cities, because everything we see well, mostly what we see is tennis club and hotels.
This time I had a little bit more time to go without the practice, because I needed that after Dubai and Davis Cup. So I took some time off and relaxed, and now I’m back in business.

Sony Ericsson Open: Andy Murray Interview March 24th 2010:

An interview with: ANDY MURRAY

Q. What would your considered thought be after an elapsed period of time after Indian Wells? How do you feel that the intervening period has gone for you?
ANDY MURRAY: Well, I mean obviously I would have liked to have done a bit better at Indian Wells. But, you know, it was you know, I wasn’t going in I guess expecting to win the tournament.
I think, you know, I’ve got to kind of look forward to this week. Had a good chat with Miles and Alex after I finished there about what I wanted to do, you know, in the week that I had to get ready, you know, and what my goals and stuff were for this week.
I feel good.

Q. Do you feel like this is like a home court for you, considering what you did here last year?
ANDY MURRAY: Um, no, I mean, the whole feel of the tournament is nice for me, because I live like eight, ten minutes away. Don’t live here, but spend a lot of time here training and stuff, and I practiced here in December.
So, you know, I’ve played a lot on the courts, so it just, you know, feels it doesn’t take me that long to get used to the conditions and stuff because I spend so much time here.
But in terms of it being a home court, not necessarily. You know, I have not played here too many years, and last year was obviously the best I played. Hopefully I can do well again this year.

Q. Is the court worth a few points to you?
ANDY MURRAY: Yeah, I think so, yeah. I mean, I think you know, it does make a difference if you, you know, practice at the place where you’re gonna be playing.
It just you know, it’s a little bit, like I say, just I don’t know if you train in the same you know, if you train in the same gym and lift the same weights all the time, and then you if you go to a different gym, even though the weights say the same, they always feel a little bit heavier, a little bit different.
Always takes you a little bit to get used to it psychologically maybe.

Q. Has anybody asked you about your take on what happened in Parliament yesterday?
ANDY MURRAY: In what?

Q. The question of tennis in the UK was brought up in Parliament.
ANDY MURRAY: Oh, okay. No, I haven’t spoken to anyone about it. I heard it was gonna happen, but I didn’t hear what happened.

Sony Ericsson Open: Justine Henin Interview March 24th:

J. HENIN/J. Craybas 6 2, 6 2

Q. Are you still having fun?
JUSTINE HENIN: Yeah, hopefully. No, it’s been good to be back on the courts. It was disappointing in Indian Wells, of course, not being my best.
But I also realize it’s gonna take a little bit of time to really be in the good rhythm and find myself again on the court, and I have to get used to different kind of things.
I didn’t live this life for almost two years, so that takes a little bit of time. I’ve worked pretty good between Indian Wells and here.
Now I’m gonna have a tough round, tough match. That’s what I want. So it’s gonna be perfect to test myself.

Q. Speaking of Elena, the other day she said when she played you in Australia she didn’t know what to expect. Obviously the backhand has never gone away, but she was surprised by your forehand. Today you hit a big winner on a cross court point. Have you beefed up your forehand at all?
JUSTINE HENIN: My backhand has always been the most natural shot, but all the time in my career I had to work very hard on my forehand.
Even if, you know, it’s not maybe doesn’t look that beautiful, I know that pays, you know. It gives me a lot more winners, a lot more than on the backhand side.
But, no, generally I just have to play aggressive and play the game I played in Australia and just try to improve every day. The hardest part when you stop is to keep the concentration all the time and to keep the intensity.
You know, it’s ups and downs, and it’s quite normal at the beginning.

Hans Rosling:Towards a more balanced

Tags:ERICSSON, Hans Rosling, Karolina Institute in Stockholm, News, program in 2020 to Ericsson

http://www.gapminder.org/GapminderMedia/wp-uploads/images_front/gapminder_home_bg_2.jpg

“Swedish professor of international health at the Karolina Institute in Stockholm, Hans Rosling believes that despite the economic inequalities that persist, we are moving towards a world in re-balancing. It beats strongly challenging the misconception that that would still exist two categories of countries: rich and poor. He stated his views in the program in 2020 to Ericsson.”

“During his long academic career but also committed to large international organizations like UNICEF, the World Health or the NGO Doctors without Borders, “Hans Rosling has forged a clear vision of economic development world. For him, no doubt that the advance of Western countries is declining and that Asia will soon dominate the economic sphere.”

See the video:

Hans Rosling - 2020 Shaping Ideas - Ericsson

“According to him, although the differences between very poor and very wealthy have never been so vast, it is reasonable to consider that in 2020 an additional 2 billion people will access to a standard of living comparable to the West, people who come mainly Asia and India. Western countries do not weigh more than 10% of the world.”

Smart energy: How to become smart consumers

Filled under: Home | segunda-feira, março 22nd, 2010 |
Tags:ERICSSON, News, Smart energy

smartenergy

Consumers are key players in lowering carbon emissions from the electricity system. We are all
consumers, so we must ask ourselves how we can contribute to smart energy usage and how this
will affect our daily lives. Utilities are in for a radical change.

Global  warming and the need to decarbonize operations top today’s business agenda. This article presents a vision of
how this may affect the individual consumer, and also of the transformation facing the utility industry. Salvatore is sitting at the airport waiting for his flight when he receives an e-mail alert on his smartphone from his energy
service provider. The alert informs him that back home in Italy critical peak pricing for electricity will come into effect in four hours. It is summer . European utilitymarket liberalization has created fierce competition among energy service providers.
Regulators have increased the pressure on energy companies to achieve substantial changes in the consumption behavior for both residential and commercial customers. The target for electricity generation from renewable energy sources has been raised to  percent by .

consup

The opening of the European utility market has resulted in further consolidation, with a number of pan-European players in the segments of electricity generation, distribution,
and retail. Electricity distribution networks are undergoing a fundamental
transformation into an integrated “European Smart Grid.” What does all this mean for Salvatore?
Motivated to make a personal contribution to global sustainability (and of course driven by financial incentives), Salvatore has recently signed a new contract providing a “best peak rate” for his house in the
greater Rome area.Electricity consumption has risen substantially in Southern and Western Europe during July and August, primarily due to air-conditioning systems and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Energy service providers across Europe have introduced tariffs with sharply higher prices during peak-demand hours and incentives for customers who are willing to reduce consumption during those times.
Salvatore is a businessman and a father with two small children.
