No make sense that a launch to be launched, because the same model it has already been released long time ago. T Mobile could have chosen at least one other color tone to your skin cover isn´t. Where is the imagination of the operators carrers :(

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Secret Revealed Well not so Secret: Battery Life Revealed

Filled under: Home | domingo, janeiro 24th, 2010 |

http://www.sonyericsson.co.jp/product/docomo/so-01b/images/index_bg.jpg

The XPERIA X10, also known in Japan simply as Xperia, came to the massive wireless carrier DoCoMo yesterday amid great reception. However, what’s truly odd about this 1Ghz, 4 inch screen Android phone is that the battery life figures have been relatively unknown up to this point. Even Sony Ericsson’s global site has never listed the battery life figures in its specifications. This left many curious as to how long it could actually last. I had several ideas, based on Sony Ericsson’s reputation of trying to have as much battery life as possible and I can now finally confirm that it’s pretty decent.

According to the official specification sheet for the Japanese Xperia (same model as the XPERIA X10), the battery life is:

Talk time (2G/Edge): 270 minutes (4 hours, 30 minutes)
Talk Time (3G): 290 minutes (4 hours, 5 minutes)

About Camera X10

Ok guys Here we analyze first  the camera of the X10. Sony Ericsson is still studying and working on that sensor will go to work but most likely is the sensor of the Sony.
The camera is still in testing and lack many options to be considered a good cam. I hope that Sony Ericsson and explore the camera to be worked with your applications. A good sensor of the camera will provide a good use of the X10 with its integrated applications.

Vivaz - Desktop view and phone functionality

Wrote by daniel:

“I just wanted to post a very simple video to show the basics of Vivaz; that is, how it looks like when you make a phone call or an sms.”
“I understand from the comments of this blog that a lot of you are very well up to date of the functionalities of Sony Ericsson phones. For those who have or have tried Satio you will recognize the user interface structure. One difference on Vivaz is that you can click up or away the shortcut area at the bottom of the screen by clicking the red call button. This functionality allows you to access the shortcuts from all of the 5 main panels.”

Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ introduces an integrated world with NTT DOCOMO

Filled under: Home | sexta-feira, janeiro 22nd, 2010 |
Tags:News, NTT DOCOMO, Photos, Press, Sony Ericsson XPERIA™, Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ X10, Videos

Tokyo, Japan – January 21, 2010 - Sony Ericsson today announces that it is strengthening its portfolio by launching Xperia™ (SO-01B) with NTT DOCOMO,INC. in Japan in April 2010. This Xperia™ phone builds on top of the Open OS Android platform and creates a unique Sony Ericsson user experience by combining best-in-class entertainment features with signature applications.

During a press conference yesterday Sony Ericsson CEO Bert Nordberg made the comment that NTT DoCoMo of Japan, would be the first network in world to sell the X10. What is interesting about that? Well so far nothing.
The press release that NTT Docomo will launch the X10 in April, which seems to suggest that the world will have to wait a little to get their hands on the X10. We read through the blog.se-nse itself that it actually Eldar Murtazin Mobile Review confirmed via Twitter that the X10 is not available in Russia until April. There’s a plot twist, because although the Sony Ericsson are saying that there was a misunderstanding about Mr. Nordberg observations. Gustaf Brusewitz Corporate Communications Sony Ericsson explained by saying that the Japanese release is in fact the beginning of April, but the world premiere was still scheduled for late Q1 and that some markets could choose to start selling the X10 before the Japanese. So March still seems to be on the cards, at least for some. We do not know if you have two versions of the X10 but is almost sure that the launching will start first in Japan and then to the rest of the world.

Written by Paul of blog.se-nse
“There is another version but there seems to be some confusion aboutthe location of the phone for the Japanese market. Some are sayingthe front facing the camera and proximity sensor was removed from the black version of DoCoMo’s X10, but this may just be a case of they do not look good in pictures version in black. Said that a living portrait of DoCoMo X10 white shows a different configurationthat found in the global version of white, ie, the camera and one ofsensors have been “bleached out”. The white version shown in DoCoMo press release, however, shows a complete set of camera, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor as can be seen in the global version. ”

Mr. Kiyohito Nagata, Senior Vice President, Managing Director of Product Department of NTT DOCOMO said, “NTT DOCOMO is creating a new communication culture combining mobile phones and services. First of all. Tnks rog by the pics, video and mini preview

wrote by rog

“Today the Sony Ericsson Vivaz aka ‘Kurara’ got official - read on to see some exclusive live pictures, first hand impressions and a comprehensive  demonstrating the Symbian OS powered smartphone in action.”

“The Satio was Sony Ericssons first Symbian OS 5th Edition powered smartphone. The Vivaz now joins the family with a slightly updated version of the Symbian OS. New features include the possibility to change the standby-panels. It looks like any flash content can be set as a panel (not sure at this time what the restrictions are). Pre-installed comes a Twitter panel, which is a little bit clumsy to use since the user name and password has to be entered every time the phone is restarted. This seems to be a limitation of the flash implementation though.”

“Another novelty is the dedicated video capture button, next to the camera button. It opens the video interface, which provides the pretty well known camera UI with its settings. The 8MP camera captures videos in HD resolution (720p). Our prototype unfortunately had a problem with the camera module, therefore we can’t provide you with any cam/video samples for the time being.”

“Hardware-wise, the Vivaz makes a very solid impression. Although the touchscreen is still using resistive technology, the sensitivity is pretty impressing. It almost feels like a capacitive screen, not to compare with e.g. Satio’s touchscreen.”

You can see more pics in the photo gallery here: se-first

Apparently the camera’s sensor is still in testing (still prototype developer SE) and possibly we may have other formats for recording video. Well we hope that happens :) . The quality of the video HD Resolution (720p) should make a huge jump and now maybe we can watch home videos in their living room with home theater.
