In the first of three interviews with Ericsson News Center, Sony Ericsson President and CEO Bert Nordberg shares his thoughts on devices. He predicts that, rather than the mobile phone dying out in the future, all other communication technology will in some way become a mobile phone.
Watch the video:
Sony Ericsson President and CEO on Devices Bert Nordberg
Nordberg also has interesting views on the relationship between software, operating systems such as Android, and hardware when it comes to developing successful smartphones.
Let the questions and our modest answers opinions
Now that so many devices have connection capability is the mobile phone dead?
No, the history shows us that there are spaces for devices without an overlap to the other, only directs him to the right path.
For smartphones is the software more important than the hardwware?
No, Any device with hardware circuit will always have programming language as the more important than the software. The marriage of hardware programming language with the software makes the device and its higher quality services to the user. The programming language hardware has to be worked and married to the software and vice versa and the two constantly updated.
Well the rest of the responses we left for the CEO answered them, watch the video for this guys.
The trend is for devices that integrate mobile devices and household appliances. This devices will converge with smartphones where anyone anywhere can be exchanging information with your fridge or your electric oven, a house fully automated and optimized with smartphones and smart OS. Mobile broadband modules provide everything that partners need in order to bring high-quality broadband to notebooks, netbooks, routers and consumer electronic devices.

Live demonstrations of commercially available, cutting-edge technologies including 3D triple-play video, online data backup and high-definition video surveillance will give attendees at the 2010 FTTH Conference & Expo a view of the services and applications enabled by commercially available WDM-PON Ethernet Access solutions from LG-Ericsson, a joint venture of LG Electronics and Ericsson.
The Ethernet Access 1100 portfolio, developed by LG-Ericsson, was recently added to the Rural Utility Services (RUS) List of Materials, allowing it to be used on telecommunications systems run by rural telephone companies rolling out fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) triple-play services in rural communities across the United States.

LG-Ericsson’s range of Ethernet Access solutions will power the demonstrations of FTTH capabilities as the LG-Ericsson brand makes its North American debut at the conference, to be held in Las Vegas from 12 to 16 of September. LG-Ericsson will be at stand #719 and Ericsson stand #12 or #627. You can find more stands in the map look out
LG-Ericsson will also be a leading participant at the WDM-PON workshop, organized by the WDM-PON Forum, to be held concurrently with the FTTH Conference & Expo. This industry-first workshop will bring together leading players across the WDM-PON industry to discuss strategies for taking the technology from its present state, to become a viable technology for widespread commercial deployment.

The FCC has just approved a device Sony Ericsson known as “Yizo”, but there seems to be some confusion about exactly what the unit is. You see, it seems remarkably similar to the previously announced Yendo. We’re not sure if this is a regional variation or a minutes overall last decision, but a device known as the “Yizo” Sony Ericsson’s recently won the blessing of the FCC – and it looks suspiciously like Yendo which was announced in June. Of course, it is not unusual Sony Ericsson Walkman to create both e-Walkman non-branded versions of essentially the same device, but in this case, both bear the Walkman logo on your bottom right corner and appear to be identical in each Remarkably, making this a kind of non-remix Android mini X10 with a hint of music. More likely is the notion that “Yizo” is simply the “Yendo” regional variation of that will go on sale in the U. S or the Sony Ericsson actually renamed the name Yendo to Yizo to because it makes sense to have two models with same specifications in different markets. What means that the final product will actually be known as Yizo, which could suggest that instead of wanting Yizo be considered a regional variant of the “Yendo”.
More photos supposed Sony Ericsson Yizo:
Unless there is any great difference lurking beneath the hood that you can not help but think they are actually the same unit. Maybe Sony Ericsson just wanted to call it “Yizo” or “Yendo” or maybe is undecided on the name of mobile phone. But think the name is now less important because the device and devices are the same then as left by the FCC description of the last name “Yizo” and Sony Ericsson provided all the documents the latter as “Yizo” for the communications committee, then we are almost certain that Sony Ericsson Walkman next phone will be with codename “Yizo”. Also we looked at the source code web and the mobile phones is the same, with the same specifications, devices and UI etc … So we conclude that it is more likely that Sony Ericsson renamed the name mobile phone Yendo to Yizo Just another change in the plans guys, no drama! relax. One more mobile phone Walkman Sony Ericsson available. First read in mobile.engadget
